The results are a uniform stratification of the media based on media depth and location to the top of the well (anaerobic) or bottom (desired microaerophilic levels). Gas Permeable Plate is sealed to the chamber below through gas tight seals, top and thumb screws. Quick disconnect fittings make tubing connection quick and easy. Set up in less than 10 minutes. In testing O2 concentrations have been tested through a variety of dissolved O2 sensors at consistent and defined positions within the Transwell with the use of a micromanipulator.
